Daughters hold an enduring love and gratitude for their Dads, as shown in these Dad poems from Daughter. There is a special bond between fathers and daughters.
My Dad’s my number one, the best of them all;
He leads the way, he is so caring and bold.
Wherever I stumble, he's there to catch me if I fall.
His wisdom and advice makes me stand so tall.
His love for me is never ending and true.
I'm grateful for him, so much that he can do!
Surrounded by joy is how this Father's Day will go,
And give thanks for all the fun memories we know!
A Father's Love
Poet: C. A. Lynch
In a world of laughter and sunny skies,
A father's love, a precious prize.
Through ups and downs, you've been my guide,
In your embrace, I find my stride.
Your wisdom shines, a beacon bright,
Guiding me through the darkest night.
With every hug and every smile,
You help me through the rough miles.
Dad, you're my hero, strong and true,
In your love, I always grew.
Through thick and thin, you stood by me,
A pillar of strength, eternally.
So here's a poem, a simple token,
Of love and gratitude, unspoken.
For you, dear Dad, my heart is full,
You're my rock, my joy, my pull.
A daughter's world of hope and love,
Each day that passes from above,
The dad loves his daughter so,
Tells her how much she will grow;
"Be strong my child," he'd always say,
"And know I'm here all the way."
He guides me to a brighter place;
This bond no trials can erase.
His protective arms, both kind and fierce,
Have persevered through life's years;
My love for him I'll ever show,
For all he is and all I know.
Oh, My Dad
Poet: C. A. Lynch
Oh, my dad always groans and moans
When I try to switch the remote's tones.
He grumbles how much I cost him
When unsupervised activities begin.
At times his temper can flare up high,
But he always protects me in fiercest fight.
No amount of money can measure our bond,
I laugh at his jokes even when they are far from fond.
You've Been My Hero
Poet: C. A. Lynch
My dear dad, you are my rock,
My guardian angel even in shock.
Through joy and sorrow, you have been there,
To fill the void of loneliness with care.
Your loving hugs always bring relief.
With everlasting courage and belief.
I'm blessed to have a father like you,
Whenever I'm lost you knew what to
Your love is as strong for me as the sun's light,
You've been my hero and everything's alright!
A Rock
Poet: C. A. Lynch
Fathers are strong, yet gentle too
A rock in my life so true
His love unconditional and vast
His warm embrace total and fast.
Shaping me according to His plan
Trust him and faith in man
Receive his guidance at every twist and turn
Never give up, never ever yearn.
My dad, he's always there for me.
In everything that I go through,
For anything I may need,
He's my rock in life - perseverance is his creed.
His support unconditional, no matter what the cost,
From difficult times to better ones, through all he never gets lost.
Steady guidance throughout my life is a pleasure I can't oppose;
Father dear, your love and strength give me hope.
My silly dad, with ties of blue
Dances to tunes he thinks are cool,
He knows not one step but two
He's got some moves that make me swoon.
Laughing in the kitchen at his own jokes,
Has me rolling my eyes with folks.
Cheering on his team come rain or shine
No matter what he will always be mine.
Thank You Dad
Poet: C. A. Lynch
To Dad, my hero, with love I say,
You fixed everything in our house, day by day.
With skilled hands and a heart so true,
You made us feel safe, loved, and secure too.
From broken toys to leaky pipes,
You were there, Dad, to make it right.
Thank you for your unwavering care,
For always being strong, always being there.
Through ups and downs, you stood tall,
A constant presence, through it all.
Dad, your love and support shine through,
For everything you do, I thank you.
In reverent gratitude, I humbly confess,
My dad, constant guardian, in every success.
Silent strength embraced me, through moments grim,
His love and encouragement ever reach deep within.
Though life's whirlwinds may force me to oft retreat;
Unspoken words of thanks, my soul will repeat.
For a steady hand guiding my steps all the way,
Thank you Dad, I love you every single day.
My Dad, My Rock
Poet: C. A. Lynch
My Dad, my rock and my stronghold,
Remains in my heart where he's ever so bold.
At times hardworking, yet always so caring,
The warmth of his love is never-fading.
I look up to him no matter the task.
A hero in my heart, an anchor to me that will last.
In moments of joy or stormy weather,
His constant support will be with me forever.
