Christian poems for Thanksgiving beautifully capture our gratitude for God's blessings in our lives, for His Grace, and for His steadfastness as our Heavenly Father.
His love, so deep, so pure, so true,
It carries us when skies turn blue.
Through every trial and every tear,
His love remains, always near.
In times of joy, His love abounds,
In times of sorrow, His love surrounds.
It lifts us up, it calms our fears,
His love wipes away our tears.
For God is love, it's His essence,
A love that knows no bounds or presence.
He sent His Son to die for all,
So through His love, we'll never fall.
So let us give thanks to Him for His love,
A love that comes from heaven above.
For in His love, we find our worth,
A love that lasts eternity's birth.
Hope And Peace
Poet: C. A. Lynch
His comfort, like a gentle breeze,
Envelopes us, puts our hearts at ease.
In times of grief, and days of despair,
His comfort, oh how it's always there.
He holds us close, in arms so strong,
In His embrace, nothing goes wrong.
He whispers words of hope and peace,
His comfort brings our souls release.
When trials come and burdens weigh,
His comfort carries us through the day.
He heals our wounds, He soothes our pain,
His comfort, a refuge, a perfect gain.
So let us show thanksgiving through praise,
For His comfort, in all our ways.
For in His comfort, we find rest,
A gentle pillow for our troubled chest.
Our Cups Are Full
Poet: C. A. Lynch
His provisions, like a table spread,
With every good thing, our souls are fed.
From the mountains high, to the valleys low,
His provisions overflow and grow.
He gives us food to fill our bellies,
He clothes us with love, warm and cozy.
With every need, He's always there,
His provisions, beyond compare.
So let us gather, and give Him thanks,
For all His blessings, and overflowing banks.
For in His provisions, we lack no thing,
Our cups are full, and our hearts will sing.
