Welcome to a collection of Saturday Poems, where our poems embrace the splendor that the weekend brings. Saturdays for many are considered a cherished gift, where the demands of work are not present on this day.
Saturday is a time to revel in leisure, indulge in the activities that ignite our passions, and bask in the joy of unstructured moments. Through these poems, we aim to inspire and uplift, inviting you to immerse yourself in the possibilities and uplifting spirit that Saturdays bring forth.
Saturday is the day we've all been waiting for
No work, no school, just hours to explore
We can do what we like, without any doubt
Perhaps spend time with family, and laugh and shout.
Engage in our hobbies and chase our dreams
The day belongs to us, or so it seems
A chance to relax and forget about stress
On this Saturday,
we expect no less.
If Every Day Was Saturday
Poet: C. A. Lynch
If every day was Saturday, oh how life would be a breeze,
We'd lounge around in PJs and do just as we please.
But soon enough we'd realize that work needs to be done,
And progress, sadly halted, would leave us on the run.
No deadlines met or goals achieved, just lazy days ahead,
Without a sense of purpose, we'd surely fill with dread.
So while Saturdays are sweet relief from all the weekly fuss,
Let's thank the stars it's not seven days of leisure for all of us!
Friday is here, we all rejoice
A surge of energy, a lively voice
Weekend's in sight, work's now done
Tomorrow's Saturday, time for fun.
No more stress, no more strife
It's time to unwind and live our life
Thank goodness it's Friday, let's celebrate
With family and friends, staying up late.
Recharge
Poet: C. A. Lynch
Oh Saturday, you sweet escape!
No alarm clock, no need to wake.
I'll sleep in late and lounge around,
Not a single deadline to be found.
I'll spend the day just as I please,
With nothing on my plate but ease.
Thank goodness for this day of rest,
So I can recharge and be my best.
Saturday Is Truly My Day
Poet: J. A. Butler
Saturday, a good morning of delight,
No alarm clock to set, no traffic to fight.
A day to catch up on the things I adore,
No obligations holding me to the floor.
I look forward to the day with each breath I take,
Freedom and bliss are mine for my sake.
A canvas of hours, blank and pristine,
Saturday is truly my day, it seems.
